Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!
Since we are both part Irish AND we will be going to Ireland later this year (EEP!), we are big fans of this holiday.
This year I made a very Irish dinner consisting of corned beef, cabbage, and smashed potatoes.
The corned beef was made straight from the package, I used the Pioneer Woman’s cabbage recipe as well as her smashed potatoes recipe (found here and here). So good!
Dessert was an Irish car bomb in dessert form! Click HERE for the recipe if you’d like to try it. It turned out absolutely deliciously. Seriously. So yummy.
After the feasting, Melody and I decided to break out the instruments and play some Irish tunes. Here’s a really fun Irish jig called King of the Fairies.
Thanks for watching! – Katy
